kristi + shane = married! fargo wedding invitations

Hi everyone!

I’m excited to share these beautiful images of a real wedding! In the next couple of months – I’ll be sharing ‘real weddings’ – images from the big day of couples I’ve created wedding stationery for. 🙂  When meeting with brides for the first time, I always stress how your invitations will “set the tone” for your big day, and give your guests a glimpse of what’s to come. You want to make a great first impression – and Kristi and Shane definitely did with their beautiful wedding invitation set.

When Kristi and I first met, she showed a lot of interest in my “Bliss Collection” – a beautiful set with handmade fabric flowers and crystals. This is one of my favorites as well…I love the flower accent that really pops and adds some visual interest to the invitation. Check them out:

Kristi chose a soft, ivory white watercolor card stock that has a nice texture to it. I added a subtle polka dot pattern to the background, and a fun decorative design to the top of the RSVP and details card.

Kristi made all of the flowers herself! She did a wonderful job. 🙂 Photos below are all taken by Frozen Music Studios.

Gorgeous couple and look at that fabulous dress!! The dress inspired the fabric and crystals Kristi chose for the flower on the invitation. I love how the hints of crystal beads are everywhere in the details – tying everything together beautifully!

Their intimate wedding and reception took place at the NDSU Alumni Center here in Fargo.

Gorgeous centerpieces by Shotwell Floral.

Alicia with Bliss did a wonderful job with the rentals -I love the linens!

Frozen Music Studios did a great  job with the photography – I love this shot they got of the invite with the gorgeous rings!

Love all of the flower and crystal details! Kristi did a fabulous job!

Love in the Oven made lot’s of wonderful treats for the sweets table. Kristi made the signage (complete with all of those cute handmade flowers!).

Kristi thought ahead and made little kiddie bags for the little one’s at the wedding. Kristi mentioned, “We had a ‘Kids Corner’ table.  I made the pennant banner myself (and a dessert bar pennant also) – the bags you see we hand-stamped with chocolate brown circles and made for the kids who were attending.  We included a ring pop, candy necklace, Hershey kisses – and then a blank card, envelope and crayons.  During the reception, this kept the kids very busy making us a card and wishing us well!  We loved looking at the pictures they made – it was one of my favorite things of our wedding.”  Adorable! 🙂
