Hi everyone! I’m SOOOOO excited about the “Get Hitched” wedding event coming up next month! Last year I began creating wedding stationery and other decorative details a couple of months after our wedding. Get Hitched was the first wedding show I did and I loved it! I went to the event as a bride two years ago and found my photographer and florist. I absolutely love the intimate atmosphere at this event. It’s a great opportunity to see and talk to THE BEST wedding vendors in the Red River Valley. This year we’re shaking things up a bit and I’m so excited to share what everyone worked so hard on these past few months. 🙂

The event is Friday, November 2nd from 6-9 p.m. at the Plains Art Museum located in downtown Fargo, North Dakota.

Get Hitched is a wedding event with a fresh approach. This is not the big, impersonal show you’ve attended in the past. Instead, it is an intimate cocktail party where you can meet local artisans and get inspiration from wedding vendors. All of our vendors have come together to put together eight amazing wedding themes that would suit any bride’s style! Think of it as Pinterest come to life! Come with your girlfriends and make a night of it!
Hors ‘d oeuvres, drinks and tasty desserts will be served.
Where can I get a ticket?
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door the night of the event. Each tickets includes a drink ticket. You can purchase tickets in advance from West 13th Salon in West Fargo, Shotwell Floral and The Bridal Shop in Fargo and at Tres Chic in Grand Forks starting October 1st!

Get Hitched is geared towards any bride looking to truly personalize their wedding. Whether you are modern, vintage, chic, country, or eclectic, our vendors are excited to share creative approaches to wedding traditions with you, no matter your budget or style.
 What types of vendors will be at the event?
The vendors at Get Hitched have been hand-selected because of their quality of service and commitment to their craft. Florists, photographers, DJs, caterers, makeup artists, event stylists and more will be there to meet you. Vendors will be listed on the Get Hitched website as they are added to the lineup for the show.
Who thought this up?
Get Hitched was created by local photographer Katie Lewis. Tired of the traditional wedding shows in the area, she wanted something different; something much more interactive and social. Get Hitched is a great way to really chat with vendors and get to know them, their style and what they can offer you in a no pressure environment.
